We've come a long way since I last posted this question. I finished at least 3/4 of the old wish list but we still have a way to go.

Currently I feel web site naviagation is the issue that needs fixed the worst. From the homepage it is really hard to find stuff like our highlining articles. Unfortunately I'm not sure I know what people want to see. I can make all sorts of cool flash enabled drop down menus but that stuff gets hard to update once it is in place. So, what do you think?

Next up the product photos come to mind but this is more of a tie along with getting more "how to" movies and photos together. Opinions? I've been working hard on taking new photos and I have most of them I just haven't put them in the site yet.

Speaking of products, what would you like to see us carry that we don't currently offer? Do we need to carry specific brands or are we good carrying things like ACE carabiners since they are cheaper and the specs are still very good. I think our longer lines need some rework - which is underway - but often reworking doesn't come without increased cost. Ideas?

I've been pondering a Wiki system (it's where anyone else can publish their own edits) and have build them before but between potential spam problems, debates between users, copyright infringment issues and time spent moderating comments I don't know if we're ready to go there just yet. A year or two ago I did build a wiki for a while but it quickly got hijacked with spam and people making an arse of themselves.

I do have some new slackline kit setup videos, but currently they are limited to our web visitors who are willing to verify that they are current customers. Streaming videos on this level are expensive to host (they take up bandwidth, not necessarily file size) so I can't afford to open them up to everyone just yet. Does anyone want to see these in DVD format to get along with their orders? Basically it's a very detailed video instruction. It doesn't show anything not otherwise in the instructions but some people are willing to watch videos but won't get around to reading 5 pages of tips. Do you think we need DVDs offered? These would be priced only to cover the cost of distribution, not for profit. Something like $4 each.

I have been slowly adding more and more articles on things like when to retire webbing with videos and tweaking our research stuff here and there. What other articles would you like to see us hosting?

I've kind of given up on making the site CSS / XHTML compliant. Our site currently loads "ok" in all major browsers and our search placements are good so it's hard to justify dumping a few thousand in redesigning the site. The only platform that doesn't work well is PDA/WPA access for cell phones with internet. Is this something that you folks need?

Basically, we've got one developer - me - so any task I undertake puts other things off until later. Where do you think we should start?
